These photos were taken as part of the "Faces of Caregiving" photo exhibition as part of the Singapore Patient Conference 2015. Incidentally, I was asked to contribute a couple of shots for the exhibition as part of the organising committee on short notice, making this one of my first forays into environmental portraiture work. Tough it may be, this assignment got me thinking on the meaning of happiness and what does love means. Witnessing the many patients with dementia was especially hard, as the mental degradation causes a role reversal between parent and child, or worse, leave the elderly as an empty shell of themselves. Despite all this, love stills shines through. Take care of your loved ones.
Love
It is a mysterious thing that connects us all.
